Myself and my family are very excited to embark on our very first family festival experience together at Camp Bestival Dorset this July!

With headline acts spanning from the iconic Grace Jones to chart-topping Craig David Presents TS5 and indie favourites The Kooks, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Arguably one of the hottest acts of the last year, Confidence Man will bring their uniquely feel-good party anthems to Dorset, whilst pop icons Melanie C and Sophie Ellis-Bextor also join the line up alongside vocal powerhouses Sam Ryder and Ella Henderson. Plus, Dick & Dom, Cosmic Kids Yoga, Junior Jungle and Mr Tumble will entertain families of all ages at the unmissable four-day celebration.
Specifically designed by parents with family in mind, it’s no exaggeration to say that Camp Bestival really does have something for everyone. The fun continues with a sensational line-up of family favourites to delight crowds over a jam packed four days. From Cosmic Kids Yoga with Jaime to mischief and singalongs from Mr Tumble and Junior Jungle, Dick and Dom, Mister Maker, Horrible Histories and Splash Test Dummies, there’s enough family fun for everyone. For the thrill seekers, there’s Extreme Bike Battles, roller discos, mega skate ramps and even a Red Devil’s parachute display!
Elsewhere on the 15th birthday extravaganza, families can expect appearances across the festival site from Fearne Cotton, Caity Baser, Todd Terry, Goldie Lookin Chain, DJ Rap, Hot Dub Time Machine, Roni Size, Mr Motivator, Stereo MC’s, Fake Bush, Elvana – Elvis Fronted Nirvana and The Bootleg Beatles as well as Sam Tompkins, Bowie Disco, esteemed DJ and Producer Krystal Roxx and Camp Bestival-favourites; Dub Pistols as well as a plethora of DJs including Phat Phil Cooper, Jemma Bolt, Rhythm of the 90s, Jim8track, Bobbin and Darren Davies. The original family ravers, Big Fish Little Fish, will also be gracing the Lulworth fields once again with their legendary family rave experience
A festival for every family, Camp Bestival has entertained crowds for 15 years with genre spanning line-ups combined with circus spectacles, comedy, activities, firework finales as well as a dedicated wellbeing area – all located in the beautiful, spacious environment of Lulworth Castle. This year, the space will be transformed into a magical menagerie for the whole family to let their inner animals shine with an all new ‘Animal Snap’ theme.
