Our two hour festive play sessions are an exciting performer led experience which encourage children to learn through play and work together as a team to help save Christmas. The Christmas lights aren’t working and there is a worry that Santa won’t see the village from his sleigh!
Each play session starts with children coming together around the Christmas tree where they meet Jolly the trainee elf. Children write letters to Santa and post them in our magical red post box which whisks them up to the North Pole.
Our festive role play story
Jolly needs your children’s help though – they have accidentally lost all the words to Santas favourite song around the role play village. Children work together to find pieces of Jolly’s giant puzzle. With the puzzle complete the only thing left to do is use the power of song and some jingling bells to light the way for Father Christmas’s arrival.
Children enjoy a fairy tale story read by Santa and each child receives a special gift from the big man himself at the end of their visit.
There is plenty of opportunity for photos with Santa throughout the play session before he departs to visit children in the next village. As we wave goodbye to Santa the play session ends with some Christmas cheer and a frosting of snow.

This Christmas, Discovery Village invites little adventurers to step into a world of wonder and teamwork! Join the Mayor of Discovery Village and Santa’s trusty elves for a heartwarming mission to save Christmas!
The village green is beautifully decorated, and the snow is softly falling—but there’s a big problem! The Christmas lights aren’t working, and Santa won’t be able to see the village from his sleigh. Without the twinkling lights to guide him, how will he deliver presents to all the children?
It’s up to you to help! Work together with the mayor and the elves to fix the lights and light up the village for Santa’s grand arrival. There will be songs with Santa, snowy surprises, dancing, and plenty of imaginative play as we work as a team to save Christmas!

My little one came into discovery village to see the Elf’s and Santa! It was incredible!🎅🧝
I can’t even describe how amazing it was from start to finish. The songs with the Elf’s who are cheeky, to spending time playing and exploring with Santa. It was great for my little one as she was abit worried about meeting him but after playing alongside him. She was shouting Santa and running around with him playing. She has nonstop talked about everything, plus the gift was perfect for her age. I recommend 100% taking any little ones for a great Christmas experience. I like to say thank you ever so much to everyone at discovery village for their effort in making it so magical for us 🎄.

Remember to wear your glitzy, festive outfit (that includes you adults) and a comfy pair of socks for all those entering the role play village as shoes are not allowed. You will need to know your vehicle registration to book it into our system.
