Centre Stage School of Dance and Performing Arts empowers students (age 2½ to 18) to become confident, creative and talented performers. Recently awarded Best Ballet School in Poole 2023 by the Quality Business Awards and Performing Arts School of the Year (Dorset) 2023/24 by the Prestige Awards, the school provides a welcoming, secure space where students can flourish as individuals and develop at their own pace. No experience is required, just a desire to meet new people and have fun!
All students in the school will participate in the school’s large-scale bi-annual show and will feature in a production of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ at Lighthouse in May 2024.
Centre Stage offers classes in Performing Arts, Ballet (Royal Academy of Dance) and Acrobatic Arts. The school has an outstanding reputation, a 100% exam pass rate, and is CDMT Recognised and OFSTED Registered.

Youth Creative – Weekly youth dance and movement classes!
At Pavilion Dance we run 2 termly Youth Creative classes for 5-9 and 9-13 years after school on a Friday at 5pm & 6.15pm. These dance and movement sessions help children build their artistic skills by working together to shape their own ideas and choreography. The class is a safe space designed to build confidence and peer-to-peer learning.
Youth Creatives also work towards an optional performance for the end of term revue, where they can showcase the skills they have learnt throughout their classes! There are taster sessions available on the 12th & 19th January and bookings are taken for the whole term.
