The Mini Monsters owners Talia & Becky are very experienced already when it comes to running a play cafe because they also run the popular Kids Play Cafe in Charminster for the last 6 years. They wanted to create a brand new play cafe in Moordown which is easily accessible after the school run to take the younger siblings too and also had plenty of free parking around. Their new premisses are very light and a great size!

The Mini Monster Play Cafe has a great variety of play stations for the little ones to explore with the added bonus of a fun soft play area which is always a big hit for the little ones.
When you enter the play cafe there is space for pushchairs and a shoe shelf before entering into the play zone via a secure gate.
There is plenty of variety from an animal hospital, a castle, a very cute yellow school bus to a roaringly fantastic dinosaur cafe plus plenty of fun ride on toys there is a climbing frame with a slide as well as a designated zone for babies in a safe play pen.
Mini Monsters has plenty of highchairs and both the seating areas have a overview of the whole place so you can always have an eye on your little ones.
The designated changing area has some lovely touches like spare nappies and wipes and even some spare clothing in case its needed.
Opening Hours
Monday to Friday Mini Monsters is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am until 2.30pm and Saturday and Sunday depending on parties they open from 9.45am – 2.45pm. Each session is 1.5hours long.
Entry Fee
The entry fee is £5 per child with 1 free adult and any additional adult will be £1. Mini Monsters accepts walk ins (cash or card) or you can book via the Mini Monsters website click here.
In the future there will also be a loyalty card scheme launched.
Parking
There is plenty of free parking in the surrounding streets and up front of the play cafe you can park for 1hr for free – they do not start until 10am which means for the first session (9.30am) you are ok to park.
Food & Drinks at Mini Monsters
For the little ones you can order a Monster Mix Box which consist of 5 items and they also sell hot and cold drinks as well as toasties and cakes.
Monster Parties & SEN Sessions
There will be special monster parties (with Sully the monster) as well as SEN session scheduled soon!
Party Bookings
You can also hire the Mini Monsters Play Cafe for exclusive parties for your little ones. There are 3 party packages available (Bronze, Silver & Gold) which you can check out on their website. Prices start at £170 for 12 children & 20 adults for 90 minutes including food & unlimited squash for the children.
