The Proclamation Ceremony then starts at 10am outside Legion House, Church Lane, hosted in partnership with the Blandford & District Branch of the Royal British Legion.
The event will be opened the Mayor and will feature the Town Crier reading the VE Day Proclamation and the raising of the VE Day 80 flag.
Following the ceremony refreshments will be served in the Overlord Room of Legion House.
