The nation will mark the Jubilee with a four day bank holiday for Thursday 2. to 5. June.

Family Fun and Celebrations Weekend at the Bournemouth Pavilion Cafe & South Terrace
Thursday 2. to Sunday 5. June
Head on over to the Pavilion Terrace Bistro & South Terrace for some FREE family fun with:
Christchurch Jubilee Children’s Tea Party
Saturday 4. June from 11am-4pm
A Platinum Jubilee Children’s Tea Party hosted by Christchurch BID!
This fun filled event includes plenty of activities and fun for families and children under 13. Activities will include Jamie Jigsaw with his circus workshops, stilt walking and magic shows, a cupcake competition and nature trails. There will also be music and dancing!
Druitt Hall will also be hosting a table top sale, cakes, jams and chutneys and more from the fantastic Dorset Made Food. The hall will also be serving refreshments, including hot and cold drinks.
Princes and Princesses Celebrate the Jubilee at Farmer Palmer’s
To celebrate The Queen’s 70 years on the throne we have a reduced entrance fee of 70p!
There will be crafts for the kids & choirs performing. Our special Jubilee exhibition will also be on display.
Bring your own picnic and enjoy it on the Castle lawns!
Christchurch Food Festival & Poole Seafood Festival
From 2.-5. June, enjoy local produce at Christchurch Food Festival, with delicious street food, bars, craft drinks, free entertainment and cooking demos. FREE Entry.
If you love seafood, pop to Poole Quay 3.-5. June to find a champagne and oyster bar, top chef demonstrations, live music all weekend and of course the best in local fresh seafood. FREE Entry.
Kings and Queens Jubilee Trail – Red House Museum and Gardens
Saturday 28 May to Sunday 5 June
Red House Museum & Gardens, Quay Road, Christchurch, BH23 1BU.
Discover some of the Kings and Queens that have ruled England through 7 special objects in the museum.
The trail is also available as a seek-and-find hunt for younger children, so suitable to all ages. £1 per person.
There will also be some Museum Make: Bunting Flags sessions on Wednesday 1. June at 10am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm for £4.50 per make (booking required).
Mumbler Tip:If you head to the Museum in May half term be sure to keep a look out for some very special surprises which are hiding in the grounds there are picnic and tea parties themed and made by The Bourne Secret Knitters (what a cool name!) with lots of surprises! How exiting!
And not to forget all the local libraries in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole have put together a very special programme of free Jubilee activities for the whole family.
