Originally from Bavaria in Germany I came to the UK in December 2005 with a two year plan which somehow turned into 17 years including a British husband and 2 children age 8 and 11.
Back in 2017 we decided to relocated to Bournemouth to show our children the coastal way of life, because there is nothing better than living by the seaside, right?
Previously I use to work as a Private Nanny and when I had my first child I worked as a part time Nanny and Emergency Nursery Staff. Once my second child started big school, I decided to start up my very own business running an After-School Club which works perfectly around our family life.
I was delighted to join the Mumblers team because I am always up for finding new challenges and with the relaunch of our expanded areas, we can now offer a wider network for all of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
I am very excited and enthusiastic about helping other parents find all the information from local days out, special events to classes & playgroups, family friendly places to eat, what’s on at the local library & so much more.
Mumbler is a place where we aim to help make family life easier by having all the information that you need in one place. There are so many amazing things for families right on our doorstep and I am looking forward to sharing them with you all. You can contact AK here.
In other exiting news we will be launching a brand-new Dorset Mumbler very soon to cover all the areas surrounding BCP!
Meet the rest of the team:
She is a Yorkshire girl born and bred originally from the vale of York but settled in Harrogate 8 years ago with her husband Dan and two small children Joseph & Holly. She didn’t know a soul in Harrogate when they moved and the Harrogate Mumbler Facebook Group and website were an absolute life saver for her in those early days for classes, mum meet ups, advice and support!
Emma spent the majority of her career, before children in Retail Sales working across Buying Functions in Food & Home for a major supermarket. When her children were born she really wanted the best of both worlds, to go back to work but also enjoy precious time with them so she went part time and has worked in project management, managed her own local food franchise and then most recently she has spent the last years as a digital marketer for local businesses.
Emma will be covering Sales for BCP & Dorset Mumbler and she can’t wait to get stuck in and help businesses really connect with local mums, dads, carers and grandparents. You can contact Emma here.
