The beacon lighting event will be taking place at Mudeford Quay at 9.45pm however the event will be open from 5pm and will feature entertainment and food & drink stalls until 10pm.
Saturday 4 June – Christchurch Jubilee Children’s Tea Party
Christchurch BID is hosting a free Children’s Jubilee Tea Party & Cupcake Competition from 11am – 4pm.
This fun filled event includes plenty of activities and fun for families and children under 13. Activities will include Jamie Jigsaw with his circus workshops, stilt walking and magic shows, a cupcake competition and nature trails. There will also be music and dancing!
Druitt Hall will also be hosting a table top sale, cakes, jams and chutneys and more from the fantastic Dorset Made Food. The hall will also be serving refreshments, including hot and cold drinks.

Enjoy a ride on an authentic steam train around Moors Valley Country Park.
The 7 ¼” gauge narrow gauge railway provides a picturesque journey of just over a mile. Starting at Kingsmere Station, travel along the banks of the Moors Lake, a double loop around the play area incorporating three tunnels, inclines and a bridge before stopping at Lakeside Station.
