Summer at Monkey World means the primates are enjoying being out & about in their large outdoor enclosures- important for all but especially youngsters! As Monkey World is the official European Crèche for orphaned orangutans, during the warmer months the orphaned infants love to explore their outdoor spaces! Hujan, 7, is getting bigger and braver and is spending more time wrestle playing with his older adoptive brother, Bulu, 10, whilst infant ladies Rieke, Mimi and Kayan are pros at climbing high to find the tasty breakfast treats hidden around the enclosures.

Visitors can see the orang-utan youngsters at Monkey World every day through the year apart from Christmas day. The park is also home to over 260 rescued and endangered primates, rehabilitated to live in family groups of their own kind.

For those planning multiple visits over the summer, an adoption pass is a great way to make the pennies go further- as well as helping fund future rescue and rehabilitation work. For just £27 for a child, the adoptive parent will receive a certificate, photo, 3 newsletters a year and entry pass to the park for a whole year!

For more details on visiting the park, or the adoption scheme, please visit www.monkeyworld.org, email [email protected] or call 01929 462537.

May Bank Holiday Weekend – Saturday 25th & Sunday 26 May!

Every child who brings an unopened bag of nuts for the primates receives a free Monkey World badge over the bank holiday weekend.

Help our rescued and endangered monkeys and apes by donating a bag of unopened nuts! These can be either shelled or unshelled but must be unsalted.
