Avon Heath Country Park

Pop up pottery painting with Moon Studio Ceramics – 17th February

Suitable for 4-14-year-olds. Please support little ones under 9 years old.

Two 1.5 hour sessions at 11 am and 2 pm on Monday 17th February 2020.

£8 per child.

Please bring a large container to take home your creations.

Jesmonite Terrazzo Workshop – 23rd February 10:30 to 11:30 am

Suitable for 6-14-year-olds. All children need to bring an adult!

During the 2 hour session, Carey will introduce you to the medium and guide you on how to mix and colour your Jesmonite, cast in moulds and finally sand by hand to reveal the magic beneath!

Brownsea Island

Winter Weekend Opening 2020 – 1st February until 8th March.

Ahead of daily opening in March, Brownsea Island will be open for day visitors during weekends from 10 am – 4 pm each Saturday and Sunday.

Boats running from Sandbanks and Poole Quay. Please check before attending.

Corfe Castle

A series of interactive activities will be on offer this half-term. Budding knights and damsels can take part in the ‘Great Escape’ (teddy bear zip wire) and watch missiles launch from the castle’s medieval siege engine.

19 & 20 February

4 – 10 years but all ages are welcome. Families practice being safe whilst having fun exploring our interactive learning village.  The tour lasts around 1.5 hours and consists of a treasure hunt and practical problem-solving.

Making Shadow Puppets: Family Workshop with artist Anna Shiels

Pottery Club: February half term workshops for children
