I am organising Bournemouth’s first Rainbow Run, which is an informal run/ walk for women that have experienced pregnancy loss, infant death and/ or infertility. Christmas is the most difficult time for women like me and can leave us feeling isolated and lonely. The rainbow run is a way for women to come together and support each other in a safe place, with women that understand how they feel.
The Rainbow Run is on Sunday 15th December at 10:00 am. It is 5k from Bournemouth Pier (outside Aruba) to Boscombe Pier and back. There is no expectation of pace and no one will be left behind or feel pressured to go faster. It is free (just pay for their own refreshments at the cafe) women only and child-free. The run will be followed by tea and cake at Key West on Bournemouth Pier.
