Introduction to Scratch for Kids
Recommended age 8+
Class – Beginner (Basics 1)
A fun introduction to programming, suitable for both the children with no knowledge of coding as well as the ones with a basic understanding. At the end of the class, children will have a customisable Dance animation. They will also be able to send the animation to their family members and friends.

Required: Computer or iPad, and access to Internet to Connect Zoom meeting.
Materials: Kids will use online Scratch editor https://scratch.mit.edu/ Although it is possible to create a project without an account, we recommend having one before the workshop otherwise kids will not be able to save or share their projects. Please go to https://scratch.mit.edu/ web site and create an account for your child. Once the account has been created, make sure that you have confirmed the account via your email.
